Information Sheet

Player Development is for players wanting to learn hockey skills (all new or developing players prior to the start of the playing season). This program is run over 2 day at 2 venues.

 

Player Development sessions will run for approximately 1½ hours, in 1 of 2 sessions, learning the fundamentals of hockey. This Program is held over 2 days:

           Sunday, March 11 - conducted at Burringbar Park, Chermside  8.00am to 11.00am - session 1 from 8am to 9.30am; session 2 from 9.30am to 11.00am

           Sunday, March 18 - conducted at the State Hockey Centre, Colmslie  8.00am to 11.00am - session 1 from 8am to 9.30am; session 2 from 9.30am to 11.00am

**The cost of the Development Clinic is $35.00 per player**

Nominations Close: Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Noon.  Once the nominations are closed, your Club Secretary will be advise all information after 3pm.  Also it will be place on our website.  We don’t advise players individually.

 

NB: Player Selection Trials are a separate Trial for players who want to nominate for selections and participate at the U13 Southern Cross Tournament and the U13 State Championships.

1.  All nominations are subject to BWHA Operations Manual Clause 27.

2.  You must notify the BWHA office if you have an injury or sickness.

3.  The Development Program gives all nominees an opportunity to develop their skills. The Development Program session is not used for selection purposes, however if identified by the RDO, Selectors or the Coaching staff, maybe asked to attend Selection Trials. The cost for this Development Program is $35.00 - this money is non-refundable. 

*Players may nominate after the closing date however they will still pay the full non-refundable $35.00.

4. Payment for the Development Program is to be paid prior to the commencement date (Wednesday, March 7)
